Our purpose

Michael and Teena first met as teenagers attending Glendora High School, where their relationship started as friends. They shared a great sense of humor and had natural chemistry. It was only a matter of time before their friendship would blossom into romance, and they married in 1983. Before Haven was in business, Teena was building an impressive resumé as a regional manager for a popular fast food franchise, while Michael was an award-winning salesman at FGS Insurance. After becoming pregnant with their first son, Teena gave up her lucrative position to be a stay-at-home mother. That wouldn’t last long, though. Due to differences in business ethics, Michael chose to leave his position at FGS as well. This is when they decided to open Haven Insurance Services together. Like any small business, the first few years were difficult – especially with a child to take care of and a second one on the way! But thanks to Michael’s common-sense attitude towards insurance, and Teena’s vast business administration experience, Haven grew and became quite successful. Today, Michael and Teena are still a thriving couple, and have moved the business online. Friends and family alike entrust Haven Insurance with their business, and surely will for years to come.
